     Jean-Baptiste Brun was born circa 1684 at Port-Royal, Acadia.1 He was the son of Sébastien Brun and Huguette Bourg.1 In the 1686 Census, Jean-Baptiste was recorded, age 4, living in Port-Royal, Acadia.1 In the 1693 Census, Jean-Baptiste was recorded, age 9, living in Port-Royal, Acadia.1 In the 1698 Census, Jean-Baptiste was recorded, age 14, living in Port-Royal, Acadia.1 In the 1700 Census, Jean-Baptiste was recorded, age 16, living in Port-Royal, Acadia.1 In the 1701 Census, Jean-Baptiste was recorded, age 18, living in Port-Royal, Acadia.1

Jean-Baptiste Brun married Anne Gautrot, daughter of Claude Gautrot and Marie Thériot, on 2 October 1708 at Port-Royal, Acadia.1

Jean-Baptiste Brun died on 1 June 1751 at Annapolis Royal, Colony of Nova Scotia.1 He was buried on 2 June 1751 at Annapolis Royal, Colony of Nova Scotia.1
