Vénérande Savoie was born on 31 July 1780 at Néguac, Colony of Nova Scotia (now New Brunswick).1 She was the daughter of François Savoie and Anne Poirier.
Vénérande Savoie married Cryille Légère, son of Oliver Légère and Marie-Josèpte Hébert, in 1796 at New Brunswick, Canada.2,1 Vénérande Savoie died on 26 November 1819 at Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada, at age 39 She died ten days after the birth of her last child, so she probably died from complections from childbirth.1
