François Michel was born circa 1690 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.2 He was the son of Jacques Michel dit Saint-Michel and Catherine Comeau.2
François Michel married Marie-Anne Légère, daughter of Jacques Légère dit La Rosette and Madeleine Trahan, on 5 February 1715 at Annapolis Royal, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.
François Michel died before 12 July 1759.2
