Michel Lebret was born on 29 May 1703 at Dinan, Côtes-d'Armor, Brittany, France.1 He was the son of Jacques Lebret and Jeanne Chavet.1
Michel Lebret, age 36, married Marie-Catherine Gagné, age 30 , daughter of Alexis Gagné dit Bélavance and Marie-Catherine Cloutier, on 6 November 1739 at Cap-Saint-Ignace, Québec, New France.
Michel married second on 28 April 1756 at New France Angélique-Rosalie Morin, the daughter of Robert Morin and Françoise Mignier. She was born 7 December 1710 in Rivière-Ouelle, Québec, New France and died 19 July 1775 in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, Québec, Canada.1 He died on 4 March 1774 at Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, Québec, British North America, at age 70.1
