     Pierre Girouard was born circa 1673 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Jacques Girouard and Marguerite Gautrot.2

Pierre married first circa 1697 at Grand-Pré, Acadia, New France, Marie Comeau, the daughter of Jean Comeau and Françoise Hébert. She was born about 1678 in Acadia, and died about 14 November 1709 in Grand-Pré, Acadia.
