Michel Grossin was born on 20 October 1734 at St-Pierre-du-Nord, Île Saint-Jean (now Prince Edward's Island), New France.1 He was the son of Pierre Grossin and Cécile Caissie.1
Michel Grossin, age 23, married Marie-Josèphe Chiasson, age 19 , daughter of François Chiasson and Anne Doucet, on 10 January 1758 at St-Pierre-du-Nord, Île Saint-Jean (now Prince Edward's Island), New France.1 Michel Grossin died after 1764 at French Guiana.1
