     Marie Poirier was born circa 1760 at Acadia, New France.1 She was the daughter of Pierre Poirier dit Pierrot and Marguerite Girouard.1

Marie Poirier married Charles Richard, son of Paul Richard dit Plate and Marie-Renée Boudrot, circa 1780 at Prince Edward Island, Canada.
