Joseph-André LeBlanc was born in 1722 at Port-Toulouse, Île Royale, New France.1 He was the son of Claude-André LeBlanc and Madeleine Boudrot.1

Joseph-André married second in 1759 at St-Charles-des-Mines Parish, Grand-Pré, Colony of Nova Scotia, Marie Doiron dit Bidâque, the daughter of Pierre Doiron and François Forest. She was born about 1744 In Nappan, the Colony of Nova Scotia and died July 1829 in Brachois, New Brunswick, Canada.
He died on 28 December 1818 at Tediche, New Brunswick, Canada.1
