     Joseph-André LeBlanc was born in 1722 at Port-Toulouse, Île Royale (now Cape Breton), Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Claude-André LeBlanc and Madeleine Boudrot.1

Joseph-André LeBlanc married Marguerite Hébert, daughter of Jean-Emmanuel Hébert and Madeleine Dugas, in 1745 at Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.

Joseph-André married second in 1759 at St-Charles-des-Mines Paroisse, Grand-Pré, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America, Marie Doiron dit Bidâque, the daughter of Pierre Doiron and François Forest. She was born about 1744 In Nappan, the Colony of Nova Scotia and died July 1829 in Brachois, New Brunswick, Canada.
