Joseph Granger was born circa 1697 at Grand-Pré, Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Pierre Granger and Isabelle Guilbeau.1
Joseph Granger married Anne Richard, daughter of Pierre Richard and Marguerite Landry, on 16 January 1719 at the Grand-Pré, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.
Joseph married second in 1750 at Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America, Marguerite Gautrot, the daughter of Pierre Gautrot and Marie-Josèphe Bugeaud. She was born about 1725 and died before 21 May 1787. After Joseph's death, she remairred Simon Landry in 1761.
He died before 30 June 1760.1
