Joseph Granger was born circa 1697 at Grand-Pré, Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Pierre Granger and Isabelle Guilbeau.1
Joseph Granger married Anne Richard, daughter of Pierre Richard and Marguerite Landry, on 16 January 1719 at Grand-Pré, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.
Joseph married second in 1750 at Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America, Marguerite Gautrot, the daughter of Pierre Gautrot and Marie-Josèphe Bugeaud. She was born about 1725 and died before 21 May 1787. After Joseph's death, she remairred Simon Landry in 1761.
He died before 30 June 1760.1
