     Denis Girouard was born circa 1688 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Jacques Girouard and Marguerite Gautrot.1

Denis Girouard married Marguerite Barrieau, daughter of Nicolas Barrieau and Martine Hébert, on 15 October 1709 at the Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.1,2 Denis Girouard died on 26 December 1709 at Grand-Pré, Acadia, New France.1 Denis was buried on 28 December 1709 at Grand-Pré, Acadia, New France.1
