     Thomas-Félicien Roy was born in 1762 at Halifax, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.1 He was the son of Joseph Roy and Marie-Anne Barrieau.1

Thomas-Félicien Roy married Marie-Josèphe Godin, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Godin dit l'Huître and Marie-Angélique Bergeron, in 1785 at New Brunswick, Canada.

She was born 26 May 1787 in Carleton, Québec, Canada and died about 16 November 1867 in Bonaventure, Québec, Canada. She had married first Jean Comeau on 23 November 1808 in Carleton, Québec, Canada.
