Pierre-Jean-Baptiste Bernard was born in 1731 at Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.1 He was the son of Jean-Baptiste Bernard and Cécile Gaudet.1
Pierre-Jean-Baptiste Bernard married Maruguerite Arsenau, daughter of Jean Arsenault and Marie-Jeanne Hébert, in 1753 at Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.
Pierre-Jean-Baptiste married second on 13 June 1770 at St. James Church, Saint James, St. James Parish, Louisiana, New Spain, Cécile Bergeron, the daughter of Barthelemy Bergeron and Marguerite Dugas. She was born about 1735 in Annapolis Royal, Colony of Nova Scotia and died 28 August 1814 in Convent, St. James Parish, Louisiana. She had been married before to (1) Joseph Dugas and (2) Nicolas Lahure.
He died circa 1790 at Louisiana, New Spain.1
