Marie-Henriette Pothier was born on 20 April 1739 at Île Saint-Jean (now Prince Edward's Island), New France.1 She was the daughter of Louis Pothier and Cécile Nuirat.1
Marie-Henriette married first on 15 January 1754 at Port-LaJoie, St. John's Island (now Prince Edward Island), Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America, Jean-Baptiste Rassicot, the son of Rene Rassicot and Marie Haché. He was born 29 September 1730 in Port LaJoye, Isle Saint-Jean, New France and died 12 June 1771 in Port St-Hubert, France.
Marie-Henriette Pothier, age 36, married Pierre Gaudet, age 55 , son of Augustin Gaudet and Agnès Chiasson, on 25 October 1775 at Église Saint-Jean l'Evangéliste, Châtellerault, Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. They had no children together.1,2 Marie-Henriette Pothier died on 25 January 1787 at Ascension Parish, Louisiana, New Spain, at age 47.1
