     Antoine Pinet was born on 7 October 1682 at Beaubassin, Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Philippe Pinet and Catherine Hébert.1 In the 1686 Census, Antoine was recorded, age 4, living in the household of Catherine Hébert and Philippe Pinet at Les Mines, Acadia, New France.1

Antoine Pinet, age 26, married Marguerie Celestin, daughter of André Célestin and Perrine Basile, on 16 April 1709 at Grand-Pré, Acadia, New France.
