     Jean-Baptiste Testard was born circa 1725 at Port-Toulouse, Île Royale (now Cape Breton), Colony of Nova Scotia.1 He was the son of François Testard and Marie Doiron.1

Jean-Baptiste Testard married Marguerite Granger, age 29 , daughter of Charles Granger and Marie LeBlanc, on 29 May 1759 at Cherbourg, Manche, Normandy, France.1

Jean-Baptiste Testard died on 6 September 1763 at Fort-de-France, Martinique.1
