     Louis-Pierre Doiron was born circa 1689 at Pisiguit, Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Jean Doiron and Marie-Anne Canol.1 In the 1693 Census, Louis-Pierre was recorded, age 4, living in the household of Jean Doiron and Marie Trahan at Les Mines, Acadia, New France; 42.1

Louis-Pierre Doiron married Marguerite Barrieau, daughter of Nicolas Barrieau and Martine Hébert, on 21 November 1712 at Grand-Pré, Acadia, New France.
