     Jean-Baptiste Gendron was christened on 23 April 1775 at St-François-Xavier Parish, Verchères, Québec, British North America.1 He was born on 23 April 1775 at Verchères, Québec, British North America.1 He was the son of Jacques Gendron and Marie-Jeanne Guyon.1

Jean-Baptiste Gendron, age 25, married Marguerite Lanier, age 23 , daughter of Louis Lanier and Marie-Anne Vetu, on 27 October 1800 at St-Mathias-de-la-Pointe-Olivier Paroisse, Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Lower Canada, British North America.

Jean-Baptiste married second on 6 February 1815 at St-Nom-de-Marie Paroisse, Marieville, Lower Canada, British North America, Marguerite Joannet, the daughter of Claude-Joseph Joannet and Marie-Louise Edeline. She was born 6 February 1767 and christened the next day at St-Antoine-de-Padaoue Paroisse, Longueuil, Québec, Canada. She died 2 April 1843, and was buried the next day fro Ste-Brigide Paroisse, Iberville, Québec, Canada. They had no children together.1 He died on 7 June 1826 at Marieville, Lower Canada, British North America, at age 51.1 He was buried on 9 June 1826 at St-Nom-de-Marie Paroisse, Marieville, Lower Canada, British North America.1
