Marie-Marguerite Desroches was christened on 28 September 1692 at St-Enfant-Jésus Paroisse, Pointe-aux-Trembles, Québec, New France.1 She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Desroches and Marie Beauchamp.1
Marie-Marguerite Desroches, age 18, married Urbain Brien, age 25 , son of Louis Brien and Suzanne Bouvier, on 21 April 1711 at St-Joseph Paroisse, Rivière-des-Prairies, Québec, New France.
Marie-Marguerite married second on 7 January 1757 at St-Enfant-Jésus Paroisse, Pointe-aux-Trembles, Québec, New France, Denis Toureau, the son of François Toureau and Eleonore Guignard. He was born about 1712 at St-Martin Paroisse, Fromental, Haute-Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. He died 5 July 1795 and was buried the next day at Hôpital général de Montréal, Montéal, Québec, Canada. After Marie-Marguerite's death, he remarried on 13 February 1757 at St-Enfant-Jésus, Pointe-aux-Trembles, Québec, New France, Marie-Louise Charpentier. Denis and Marie-Marguerite had no children together.1 She died on 5 June 1762 at Pointe-aux-Trembles, Québec, New France, at age 69.1 She was buried on 6 June 1762 at St-Enfant-Jésus Paroisse, Pointe-aux-Trembles, Québec, New France.1
