Gary L. Davis, age 37, married Jean Ruth Smith, age 46 , daughter of Sidney Henry Smith and Janice Mary Woodman, on 15 November 1985.1,2,3
Gary L. Davis died on 7 April 2016 at Gorve City Medical Center, Grove City, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, at age 67.2 Gary's obituary of 11 April 2016, reads:
Gary L. Davis, 67, of Slippery Rock passed away Thursday at the Grove City Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 10, 1948, in Wheeling, W.Va., to the late Earl and Goldie Davis. Gary graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1968.
He was the plant supervisor at Slippery Rock Wastewater Treatment Plant, retiring after 45 years of employment in 2014.
Gary coached and was involved in Slippery Rock Little League for 30 plus years. He had been a volunteer for different youth organizations in Slippery Rock. He enjoyed his yard and making beautiful gardens throughout it.
He married his late wife Jean Davis in 1985.
Surviving are his sons, Gordon Davis and his wife, Christine Davis, of Butler and Gary Davis of Butler; and three grandchildren, Gavin, Owen and Alayna Davis.
He will be missed.

Arrangements are being directed by the Smith Funeral Home in Slippery Rock.2
