Marie-Madeleine Richaume was christened on 28 March 1672 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal Paroisse, Montréal, Québec, New France.1 She was the daughter of Pierre Richaume and Marie-Marthe Arnus.1
Marie-Madeleine Richaume, age 19, married Pierre Babin dit La Croix, age 27 on 21 August 1691 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal Paroisse, Montréal, Québec, New France.1 In an act by the notary Genaple of 7 November 1700, it is written tht "The business of Sir Babin and his wife obliies them to withdraw from this country to France." Pierre went back to France, and did not return as no trace has been found of him. His wife, Marie-Madeleine appears not to have left with him, as she had two children by an unknown father in 1703 and 1709.1
Marie-Madeleine Richaume, age 63, married Antoine Daunais, age 56 , son of Antoine Daunais and Marie-Anne Richard, on 8 May 1735 at Ste-Familie Paroisse, Boucherville, Québec, New France.1 Marie-Madeleine Richaume was buried on 1 May 1743 at Ste-Familie Paroisse, Boucherville, Québec, New France.1
