Marie-Josèphe Chaput was christened on 19 March 1720 at Ste-Anne Paroisse, Varennes, Québec, New France.1 She was the daughter of Nicolas Chaput and Marie-Angélique Loiselle.1
Marie-Josèphe Chaput, age 19, married Jean-Baptiste Sénet, age 25 , son of Nicholas Sénet dit Laliberte and Marie-Gertrude Danunais, on 19 July 1739 at Ste-Anne Paroisse, Varennes, Québec, New France.
Marie-Josèphe married second on 2 October 1781 at L'Assomption-de-la-Ste-Vierge Paroisse, L'Assomption, Québec, British North America, Alexis Richard, the son of Urbain Richard and Marie-Marguerite Fleuricour. He was born 13 September 1723, and was christened 16 September 1723 at St-Enfant-Jésus Paroisse, Pointe-aux-Trembles, Québec, New France. He died 17 April 1792 and was buried the next day from L'Assomption-de-la-Ste-Vierge Paroisse, L'Assomption, Lower Canada, British North America. He had been married prevously to Marie-Josèphe Troie.1 She died on 1 December 1796 at L'Assomption, Lower Canada, British North America, at age 76.1 She was buried on 2 December 1796 at L'Assomption-de-la-Ste-Vierge Paroisse, L'Assomption, Lower Canada, British North America.1
