Geneviève married second on 9 October 1775 at La-Nativité-de-la-Ste-Vierge Paroisse, La Prairie, Québec, British North America, Pierre-Christophe Potvin, the son of Jacques-Christophe Potvin and Marie-Josèphe Viau. He was born 2 May 1747 and christened the next day at St-Antoine-de-Padoue Paroisse, Longueuil, Québec, Canada. He died on 14 August 1834 and was buried the next day from St-Rémi-de-Lasalle Paroisse, Saint-Rémi, Lower Canada, British North America. After Geneviève's death, he remarried Veronique Faubert.
