Marguerite Styves

     Marguerite Styves was born on 9 April 1777 at La Prairie, Québec, British North America.¹ She was christened on 10 April 1777 at La-Nativité-de-la-Ste-Vierge Paroisse, La Prairie, Québec, British North America.¹ She was the daughter of François Styves and Marie-Josèphe-Dorothée Bissonnet.¹

Marguerite Styves, age 14, married Gabriel Giroux, age 25 , son of Jean-Baptiste Giroux and Marie-Catherine Longtin, on 6 February 1792 at Ste-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie Paroisse, L'Acadie, Lower Canada, British North America.





Marguerite married second on 26 September 1808 at St-Jean-François-Régis Paroisse, Saint-Philippe, Lower Canada, British North America, François Beaudin, the son of Jean-Baptiste Beaudin and Marie-Angélique Babeu. He was born 27 January 1774, and christened the next day at La-Nativité-de-la-Ste-Vierge Paroisse, La Prairie, Québec, British North America. He died 21 June 1822 and was buried two days later from St-Jean-François-Régis Paroisse, Saint-Philippe, Lower Canada, British North America. He had been married to Marie-Louise Jolivet prevously.¹

Marguerite married third on 26 September 1825 at St-Jean-François-Régis Paroisse, Saint-Philippe, Lower Canada, British North America, Joseph Martin, the son of Joseph Martin and Agnes Oliver. He was born and christened 8 March 1758 at St-Constant Paroisse, La Prairie, Québec, New France. He died 14 May 1833 and was buried two days later from St-Jean-François-Régis Paroisse, Saint-Philippe, Lower Canada, British North America. He had been married to Marie-Loulse Legrand previously.¹
