     Jane Lord was born on 18 June 1775 at Berwick, Maine.1,2 She was the daughter of Elder Ebenezer Lord and Jane Hight. Jane Lord was christened on 8 December 1777 in the First Church of Berwick, Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine), with her sister, Sarah.2 Jane Lord went by the nick-name of Jenny.2 As of 18 July 1793,her married name was Wood.2

Jane Lord, age 18, married Job Wood, age 21 , son of Daniel Wood and Mary Plummer, on 18 July 1793 at the Berwick, Massachusetts (Maine).

Jane was mentioned in the will of her father, Elder Ebenezer Lord on 14 May 1795 at Berwick, Massachusetts (Maine).2 Jane and Job were divorced. Boyle notes that Job was "a neer-do-well" who died poor. His children were placed with the town.2 As of 13 January 1803,her married name was Hooper.2

Jane Lord, age 27, married John Hooper, age 41 , son of William Hooper and Elizabeth Emery, on 13 January 1803.

Jane Lord died in 1840. Jane was buried at Berwick, Maine.2
