     William Andrews was born in 1694/95 at Marblehead, Massachusetts.1,2

William Andrews married Urith Fabens, age 29 , daughter of James Fabens and Joanna Barnes, on 10 February 1717/18 at St. Michael's Church, Marblehead, Massachusetts.1,3,4 On 18 July 1720, he was assesed 5/ for the repair of St. Michael's Church.1

William Andrews married Mehitable Andrew, daughter of Daniel Andrew and Sarah Porter, on 19 December 1721 at Salem, Massachusetts.5,3 Williammoved between 8 February 1729 and 26 February 1731.1 William was a fisherman.1 He died before 9 May 1736 at Salem, Massachusetts, when his daughter, Mehitable, was christened and his wife was recorded as a widow.1,2

Compeller's Notes:
Many have listed James Andrews of Marblehead as Williams father. While they maybe related, there is no proof of relationship, and the dates lead one to believe they are not father and son. G. Andrews Moriarty (1950) clearly states his objections to this relationship.1
