William Lancaster was born on 19 February 1763 at Woolwich, Maine.1 He was the son of Elihu Lancaster and Mary Bubier.1 William Lancaster and Sally Porter filed marriage intentions on 11 April 1786 at Woolwich, Maine. Sally was from Eddington, Maine.1 On 3 September 1814 during the War of 1812, he faught in the Battle of Hampden, Maine.1
