     David Thompson was born in 1760 at Kennebunk, Maine. He was the son of Richard Thompson and Elizabeth Maddox. In 1818, a list was drawn up of soldiers of the Revoluitonary War. David Thompson and Richard Thompson were on that list.1

David Thompson married Lydia Perkins.2

David Thompson married Mary Cousins.2 David Thompson died in 1863.
