     John Eddy was born on 6 May 1696 at Watertown, Massachusetts.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Samuel Eddy and Elizabeth Woodward.1 John Eddy was christened on 12 September 1697 at Cambridge, Massachusetts.3 He bought land on Brush Hill, Oxford, Massachusetts in 1723.2

John Eddy, age 28, married Marcy Bellows, age 19 , daughter of Deacon John Bellows and Hannah Newton, on 20 January 1725 at Marlbourough, Massachusetts.
