     Ebenezer Eddy was born on 9 January 1704/5 at Watertown, Massachusetts.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Samuel Eddy and Elizabeth Woodward.1 Ebenezer Eddy was Ebenezer Eddy was listed as having a side gallery pew in the meetinghouse in the East Precinct of Watertown, Massachusetts on 24 April 1732.1

Ebenezer Eddy, age 32, married Ruth Ward, age 26 , daughter of Eleazer Ward and Deliverance Throwbridge, on 4 April 1737 at Oxford, Massachusetts.6,1,4,7,8 In 1748 he was appointed a Constable in Oxford, Massachusetts. He served again in 1753 and 1763.6 On 11 November 1756 he joined in the Crown Point Expedition and served for seven weeks.1 He was as a member of Captain Edward Davis' Company, Col. John Chandler Jr.'s Regiment, which marched to the relief of Fort William Henry in August 1757. He was mustered out at Worcester, Massachusetts on 5 January 1759.1 Upon his father's death in 1762, Levi Eddy, then 16 years of age, chose his uncle, Ebenezer as a guardian.1 Ebenezer Eddy died on 15 December 1768 at Oxford, Massachusetts, at age 63.6,1,4,8
