Louis married second on 18 October 1922 at Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada, Marie-Anne Légère, the daughter of Michel Légère and Christine Pinet. She was born on 8 May 1894 and died 19 May 1954. He died on 9 November 1967 at Bathurst, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada, at age 79.
