     William Blanchard was born on 11 May 1792 at Whitingham, Vermont.2,1 He was the son of Elijah Blanchard and Sally ______.1

William Blanchard married Hannah ______.3 According to the Federal Census in 1850, William was a farmer.4 William, appeared on the US Census of 1820. The enumeration reads:

Willaim and Hannah were living with the Lord family.8 William Blanchard died on 1 March 1874 at Readsboro, Vermont, at age 81 from apoplexy.2,1 He was buried at South Hill Cemetery, Readsboro, Vermont.2

Compeller's Notes:
Hannah: The person who wrote the entry in Find-a-Grave, belives that William's wife, Hannah, was born in Rohoboth, Massachusetts on 18 February 1795. Her maiden name being Bliss. I can find no corroberating evidence, and am doubtful that this Hannah is Hannah Bliss.
