     Anna Sherman was born on 27 June 1796 at Colrain, Massachusetts.2,3,1,4,5,6 She was the daughter of Nathan Sherman and Rebecca Williams.1 Anna Sherman went by the nick-name of Annie.

Anna Sherman, age 16, married Harvey Goodell, age 20 , son of David Goodell and Lovisa Wood, on 22 December 1812 at Readsboro, Vermont.7,8,4,5,6 Anna, age 53 years, and Harvey, age 57 years, appeared on the US Census of 1850 at Monroe, Massachusetts.9 Anna, age 58 years, and Harvey, age 62 years , appeared on the Massachusetts State Census of 1855 at Monroe, Massachusetts.2 Anna, age 63 years, and Harvey, age 67 years, appeared on the US Census of 1860 at Monroe, Massachusetts.10 Anna, age 68 years, appeared on the Massachusetts State Census of 1865 at Monroe, Massachusetts.11 She died on 9 August 1875 at Shelburne, Massachusetts, at age 79.3,1,12,4,5,6 She was buried at South Hill Cemetery, Readsboro, Vermont. Anna's epitaph reads:
