Samuel Roberts was born on 12 December 1686 at Dover, Strafford County, Colony of New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Hatevil Roberts and Lydia Roberts.1
Samuel Roberts, age 29, married Sarah Lord, age 20 , daughter of Deacon Nathan Lord and Martha Tozier, on 20 September 1716 at the Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).
Samuel and Sarah owned covenant at First Church of Berwick, Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine), on 7 May 1721. Samuel was baptized the same day along with two of their children.1 His estate was administered on 24 April 1751 by his oldest son, Hatevil.1
