     Simon Tibbetts was born on 13 April 1770 or 30 April 1770 at Berwick, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine).1 He was the son of Captain Jonathan Tibbetts and Sarah Emery.1

Simon Tibbetts married Tirzah Lord, age 24 , daughter of Elder Ebenezer Lord and Martha Emery, on 24 September 1794 at the Berwick, Massachusetts (Maine).

Simon was mentioned in the will of his father, Captain Jonathan Tibbetts on 25 December 1798 at Sanford, York County, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine), recieving three acres of meadow on the west side of Mt. Hope Road.1 Simon Tibbetts died on 5 April 1842 at Sanford, Maine.1
