Peter LaBombard

     Peter LaBombard was born in 1842 at Vermont.^2,3 He was the son of Joseph Le Bombard and Louise Leberge. Peter, age 18, appeared on the US Census of 1860 living at Alburgh, Vermont,in the household of his parents, Joseph and Louise Le Bombard.⁴

Peter LaBombard married Mary Philara Burnett, age 22 , daughter of François Bonin and Zoe Babin dite LaCroix, in November 1862 at Alburgh, Vermont, hey were married by the Rev. C. B. Cady..



In 1863, Peter registered for the Civil War draft, while living at Alburgh, Vermont.⁷ Peter, age 28 years, and Mary LaBombard, age 29 years, appeared on the US Census of 1870 at Alburgh, Vermont.² According to the Federal Census in 1870, Peter was a farm laborer.² Peter, age 38 years, and Mary LaBombard, age 39 years, appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Alburgh, Vermont.⁶ Peter was a laborer. in 1880.⁶ He died on 20 October 1889 at St. Albans, Vermont.³ Peter was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Saint Albans, Vermont, in section E plot 66.³
