Margaret Loretta Ryan

     Margaret Loretta Ryan was born on 12 March 1887 at Barclay, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.^3,4 She was the daughter of John Bartholomew Ryan and Catherine M. Lynch.² Margaret, age 13, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at Bloss Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, John Bartholomew and Catherine M. Ryan.⁴ Margaret, age 19, appeared on the New York State Census of 1905 living at Manhattan, New York,in the household of her parents, John Bartholomew and Catherine M. Ryan.⁵ Margaret, age 22 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at Binghamton, Broome County, New York, living with her sister and family. She was a stenographer for a lumber company.⁶ As of 15 April 1913,her married name was Gallagher.¹
