     William Dalton Dunsford was born on 10 April 1846 at Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Joseph Dunsford and Ann E. Pennock.1 William, age 3, appeared on the US Census of 1850 living at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph and Ann E. Dunsford.3 William, age 14, appeared on the US Census of 1860 living at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the household of his mother, Ann E. Dunsford.4 He served during the Civil War in the 31st Regiment Pennsylvania Infantry and the 196th Regiment Pennsylvania Infantry.5

William Dalton Dunsford, age 22, married Eliza B. Clark, age 23 , daughter of George W. Clark and Margarette Emmitt, on 18 January 1869 at the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

William married second on 11 May 1903 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Margaret C Frymire.10,11 William died on 3 October 1911 at home on 340 North 41st Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at age 65 from apoplexy.1,2,12 William was buried on 7 October 1911 at Mount Peace Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.2,12
