She was the daughter of Deacon Archelaus Woodman and Hannah Swett. As of 13 October 1726,her married name was Hale.
Hannah Woodman, age 23, married Joshua Hale, age 25 , son of Captain Thomas Hale and Sarah Northend, on 13 October 1726 at Newbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.
Hannah Woodman was the administrator of Joshua Hale's estate on 17 May 1742 at Essex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.8 Hannah was mentioned in the will of her father, Deacon Archelaus Woodman on 4 November 1762 at Newbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.5,1 Hannah was known to be living on 30 April 1777 at Newbury, Massachusetts, when she joined with her son Joshua and wife in deed.3,5 She died on 6 May 1782 at Newbury, Massachusetts, at age 79.10
