     Abigail Tarr was born on 3 December 1719 at Gloucester, Province of Massachusetts Bay.1,2 She was the daughter of Joseph Tarr and Sara Sargent. As of 11 November 1741,her married name was Woodman.

Abigail Tarr, age 21, married John Woodman, age 31 , son of Deacon Archelaus Woodman and Hannah Swett, on 11 November 1741 at Newbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.
