     Christopher Webb was born on 21 April 1747 at Braintree, Massachusetts.3,4,5,6,1,2 He was the son of Samuel Webb and Sarah Lincoln.1,2

Christopher Webb, age 19, married Betsey Smith, age 19 , daughter of Ebenezer Smith and Hannah Hovey, on 15 January 1767 at Woolwich, Maine.5,2 Christophermoved to Canaan, Maine, in 1783.5 Christopher, appeared on the US Census of 1790 at Canaan, Maine. The enumeration reads:

Christopher was granted land on 18 December 1792 at Canaan, Maine, He recieved Lot 24 where he built his home.5,2 In 1799, he sold 150 acres to Samuel Weston. As Mr. Weston made such land purchases as investments, Christopher probably continued to reside in his home as a tenant.2 Christopher, appeared on the US Census of 1810 at Canaan, Maine.
