     Jonathan Delvee was born on 21 August 1770 at Warwick, Massachusetts.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 He was the son of Peter Delvey and Lucy Town. It is from Jonathan that the twelve Tribes of Delvee are descended. He and Hannah, nee Johnson, lived in Warwick, Massachusetts on the Delvey Family Farm which he either inherited or purchased from his father. Jonathan Delvee and an unknown person filed marriage intentions on 1 September 1792 at Warwick, Massachusetts.7,9 He and Hannah Johnson filed marriage intentions on 24 September 1792 at Wendell, Massachusetts.10

Jonathan Delvee, age 22, married Hannah Johnson, age 18 , daughter of Joseph Johnson and Hannah Wilder, on 18 October 1792 at Warwick, Massachusetts.11,12,2,1 In 1798, he is listed as an owner of a Warwick home by the assessors.11 Jonathan, appeared on the US Census of 1800 at Warwick, Massachusetts. The enumeration reads:
