     Patrick Donovan was born circa 1858 at Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Malachy Donovan and Honora Murphy. Patrick, age 7, appeared on the New York State Census of 1865 living at Maine, Broome County, New York,in the household of his parents, Malachy and Honora Donovan.2 Patrick, age 12, appeared on the US Census of 1870 living at Maine, Broome County, New York,in the household of his parents, Malachy and Honora Donovan.1 Patrick, age 17, appeared on the New York State Census of 1875 living at Maine, Broome County, New York,in the household of his parents, Malachy and Honora Donovan.3 Patrick, age 22, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Maine, Broome County, New York,in the household of his parents, Malachy and Honora Donovan.4 According to the Federal Census in 1880, Patrick was a farm laborer.4
