     Michael Gallagher was born circa 1849 at Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Michael Gallagher and Mary Degnan. Michael, age 2, appeared on the US Census of 1850 living at Choconut Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Michael and Mary Gallagher.1 Michael, age 11, appeared on the US Census of 1860 in the household of his grand-parents, Michael and Ann Gallagher; Their son, Michael, and his family lived with them.2
