     Ellen Gaughan was born circa 1879 at Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Gaughan and Winifred Noble. Ellen, age 1, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Thomas and Winifred Gaughan.1 Ellen Gaughan died in 1896 at Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.2
