Louis VI the Fat King of France was born in the Fall of 1081.1,2 He was the son of Philip I the Amorous , King of France and Bertha of Holland. Louis was crowned the King of France in 1108.3
Louis VI the Fat King of France married Adelaide of Maurienne, daughter of Humbert II il Gross , Count of Maurienne and Savoy and Gisela de Bourgogne, in 1115.3,1,2 He was a crusader.3 Louis VI the Fat King of France died on 1 August 1137 at Château-Bethizy, Paris, France.3,1 He was buried at Basilica of Saint-Denis, St. Denis, Île-de-France, France.1
