     Winifred Noble was born in March 1840 at Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Patrick Noble and Mary Balands. Winifred Noble went by the nick-name of Winnie. Sheappeared on the US Census of 1860 in the household of Patrick Noble and Mary Balands at Carbondale, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.2 According to the census in 1860, Winnie was a servant.2

Winifred Noble, age 29, married Thomas Gaughan, age 27 , son of Bryan Gaughan and Mary ______, in December 1869.3,1 Winifred, age 29 years, and Thomas, age 28 years, appeared on the US Census of 1870 at Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.3 Winifred, age 39 years, and Thomas, age 38 years, appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.4 Winifred, age 59 years, and Thomas, age 58 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at 5 Hickory Street, Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.1 Winifred, age 69 years, and Thomas, age 68 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at History Alley, Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.5 Winifred Noble died on 12 June 1918 at Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, at age 78.6 She was buried on 15 June 1918 at Saint Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Archbald, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.6
