     Ida of Namur and Chiny was born in 1083 at Alsace-Lorraine, France.1 She was the daughter of Otto II , Count of Chiny and Adelaide of Namur.

Ida of Namur and Chiny married Godfrey I the Beareded of Brabant , Duke of Brabant and Lower Lorraine, son of Henry II of Brabant ~ Count of Louvain and Adelaide of the Betuwe, circa 1105.1,2,3 Ida of Namur and Chiny died between 1117 and 1122.2
