William IX, Duke of Aquitaine
     William VII the Troubadour Duke of Aquitaine and Count of Poitou was born on 22 October 1071 at Poitou, Aquitaine.1,2 He was the son of William VI , Count of Poitou and Hildegarde of Burgundy , Duchess consort of Gascony and Aquitaine. William was created, in 1086, the Count of Poitou.1 William became, the Duke of Aquitaine and ruled as Willaim IX.1

William VII the Troubadour Duke of Aquitaine and Count of Poitou married Philippa of Toulouse , Regent of Toulouse, daughter of William IV of Toulouse ~ Comte de Toulouse and Emma de Mortain, in 1094.1,2 William and Philippa were divorced in 1115.1 William VII the Troubadour Duke of Aquitaine and Count of Poitou died on 10 February 1127 at age 55.1,2
