William IV of Toulouse ~ Comte de Toulouse was born circa 1040.1,2 He was the son of Pons III ~ Comte de Toulouse, Albi, et Dijon and Almodis de la Marche ~ Comtess de Limoges. He was a crusader and a poet.1
William IV of Toulouse ~ Comte de Toulouse married Emma de Mortain, daughter of Robert de Burgo ~ Count of Mortain, Earl of Cornwall and Maud de Montgomery, in 1080.2,1,3 William was killed in battle in 1094 at the Battle of Alcoraz.2,1,3
