Theobald IV the Great , Count of Blois and Champagne married Mathilda von Sponheim, daughter of Engelbert II von Sponheim , Governor of St. Paul, Duke of Carinthia and Uta von Passau, in 1123.1,2 Theobald became, in 1125, the Count of Blois.1 He died on 8 January 1152 at Ligny-en-Barrois, France.1,2,3
